Unfortunately, I can confirm all of this. I only have one in-person workshop this year. Before I had a couple of them every year. My online workshops aren't going well, either. I have two coming up, which I may have to cancel.
Workshops have been a big source of income for me, but I think that's over now. I'm already working on a plan B, but it's not going to be in education and not even in web dev.

@Edent my Garmin watch lasts 3 weeks on a charge. Used for: Run, sleep and general health tracking, payments, loyalty cards, weather, notifications, torch, occasional navigation, fancy watch face with sunrise/sunset times, timers. Smartwatches have been very useful; a shame as I used to like proper ones and don't get chance to wear those much any more.
